The Kilcoy District Historical Society Inc values the privacy of our members and website visitors. In accordance with the Society’s Constitution, if you become a member, your name, street address, telephone contact and email address will be recorded in the Member’s Register. This register is maintained by the Treasurer.
Similarly, if you request information in person at the Hall of History and your request cannot be immediately satisfied, your name and email address and your enquiry will be recorded so the relevant member of the Society can contact you. Your name and email address will also be recorded if you request information via the Society’s eNewsletter.
As well and in accordance with the Government’s COVID-19 policy, all visitors to the Society’s Hall of History upon entry, must provide their name, address, email address and telephone number. This information will not be used for any purpose other than as a contact tracing register and will be destroyed in accordance with the Government’s guidelines.
Your details will never be shared or disclosed to third parties or anyone else without your consent and will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided that information. The only grounds for release of your information would be if you provide consent or the Society is compelled to do so by law.
Your personal information is treated as confidential and will only be accessed by authorised members of the Society.
When you visit our site, information about your visit is logged so we can administer and improve the site. This information is anonymous and does not identify you as an individual. No attempt will be made to identify you from this information.
Links to third party websites may be included on the Society’s webpage which are out of the Society’s control. Therefore, the Society cannot accept any responsibility in how the third party manages or uses that information. The third party’s use and terms of conditions should be checked before providing any personal details or completing any online forms.
From time to time, the Kilcoy District Historical Society Inc. may review and update its privacy statement. If this happens, a notification will be inserted into the ‘News’ tab.
